Abergavenny and District Civic Society
Abergavenny and District Civic Society has over 100 members including residents and local businesses. They aim to make the town a better place for all who live and work and shop there.
Abergavenny Local History Society
The Local History Society holds lectures once a month between September and May. During the summer months they arrange walks and visits. You don't need to be a member to attend and all are welcome.
Abergavenny Museum
Abergavenny Museum is set in the grounds of a ruined Norman Castle. The museum building was formerly a hunting lodge built by the Marquess of Abergavenny. The displays tell the story of this historic market town from prehistory through to the present day. Admission is free for all.
